WORLD LINKS RECEIVES NGO REGISTRATION!

World Links is the first US international adoption agency to be registered as a non-profit organization under the new Russian NGO law, which was enacted in April of 2006. Registration with the Ministry of Justice is required by all non-profit organizations operating in Russia. According to the new law passed this April, all adoption agencies wishing to be accredited or reaccredited in Russia must first be registered under this new law.

As of July 18^th World Links International Adoption Agency was issued the official registration letter of its status in Russia. Tatiana Suslin, CEO, traveled to Russia to receive WLIAA’s letter in person from Mr. Zhafyarov, Chairman of the Department of Political, Public, and Other Organizations, Federal Registry, Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.
