- Distance does not deter from our mission. You’ll find support in your adoptive search at World Links, regardless of where you call home. Our main office in Pennsylvania is in contact with regional World Links adoption coordinators in Florida, California, Illinois, Missouri and Massachusetts. In addition, we’re fortunate to have facilitators in communities all across the country. Our agency is fully licensed to provide placement to residents of all 50 states.
- Many of the people you meet through World Links have firsthand experience parenting a child from another country. You can rely on generous supportive people to be there for you before, during, and for years after you bring your child home.
- The idea of international adoption may be a challenge at first, given the differences in languages and cultures. Our Host Programs are a nurturing way for your family to learn how rewarding adoption can be. Certain states require we send someone to stay with a host family. These licensed caregivers are from the country of the child’s origin (and most likely from the child’s orphanage). Contact us to learn about host programs in your area.
- If you live abroad, or are on military assignment, we can also assist as you complete your family though adoption. The country where a child was born and the state where you have established residency both set eligibility guidelines. In most cases, international adoption is more accommodating than domestic adoption. This is so especially with regard to age, financial means, educational background, family type, or marital status.
